MBABANE:The Acting Magistrate who signed the politically motivated warrant of arrest for Police Staff Association Secretary General Dumsile Khumalo has been identified, her name is Qondile Mthethwa.
Reached for comments, the Acting Magistrate declined to comment when questioned why she signed the politically motivated warrant of arrest.
“Eish, there is nothing like that,”she said.
The Acting Magistrate allegedly colluded with Senior Superintendent Clement Sihlongonyane to try and arrest Police Staff Association Secretary General Sergeant Dumsile Khumalo merely for demanding a salary increment for junior police officers.
The arrest was stopped by armed junior police officers who confronted Sihlongonyane.
Sihlongonyane is wanted by members of the Swaziland International Solidarity Forces(SISF) for killing civilians during the political unrest, he is also wanted by junior police officers for persecuting their Secretary General.
