ZANDONDO: Chief Prince Mahloma of Zandondo has been killed allegedly, by members of the Swaziland International Solidarity Forces(SISF).
A exclusive video in our possession shows the Chief who was held hostage at his home on Friday night, being forced to inform the Nation that the Solidarity Forces have arrived and they were demanding democracy.
“Bafana bema-Solidarity sebafikile, bafuna inkhululeko(meaning: Solidarity forces have arrived and are demanding freedom)”, said the Chief in a video before being killed.
Reached for comments, the Commander of the Solidarity Forces confirmed the killing of the Chief adding that they managed to seize a gun.
“It’s true that the Chief has been killed, we also managed to seize a gun,” said the Commander.
A questionnaire was sent to Superintendent Phindile Vilakati, however, she had not responded at the time of compiling this report.
Efforts to reach the Chief’s family proved unsuccessful at the time of compiling this report.
The tension in eSwatini escalated after King Mswati refused to participate in a political dialogue and continued to unleash his security officers to shoot and kill dozens of civilians.
