KOMBIS ASSOCIATION: Bail paid,all public transport workers expected back to work on Friday.

MBABANE: Sabelo Dlamini, the Secretary General of the Eswatini Local Kombis Association has confirmed that the arrested public transport workers have been released after they paid bail on their behalf.

Dlamini said after  collecting thirty thousand Rands (R30,000.00) bail for the five(5) workers who were granted six thousand Rands(R6,000.00) bail each, they expected operations to resume on Friday.

The arrest of the five(5) public transport workers who are facing assault charges resulted to a violent  protest on Thursday, other workers went on a rampage, demanding their release.

“We have paid bail on behalf of the workers and  tomorrow, we hope operations will resume,” said the Secretary General of the Local Kombis  Association.
