POLICE ASSOCIATION PRO:Solidarity Forces Commander must deal with officers who will assault, shoot civilians during protest.

MBABANE: Constable Qiniso Sikhondze, the Spokesperson of the Police Staff Association has urged the Commander of the Swaziland International Solidarity Forces(SISF) to deal with any officer who would heed orders and assault protestors on Tuesday.

Members of the public are expected to march to the High Court, demanding the release of incarcerated pro-democracy Members of Parliament(MPs) Bacede Mabuza and Mthandeni Dube.

The PRO urged on-duty junior police officers to take note of whoever would heed orders to assault protesting civilians.

“We need the Solidarity forces to deal decisively with any officer who will shoot protesters or harm them in anyway.The police staff association condemns any officer who will take orders and beat, harm and kill any liswati. All junior officers are encouraged to open their eyes and ears and report whoever takes and implements unlawful orders from the corrupt police executive,” said the Police Staff Association PRO.
