LUDZELUDZE: Three(3) members of the People’s United Democratic Movement(PUDEMO) Youth League were abducted by Mswati’s soldiers at Ludzeludze and detained at Zombodze Army Barracks where they are being tortured.
The three(3) members of the Swaziland Youth Congress(SWAYOCO) are Sanele Sithole, Mphendulo Sithole and another PUDEMO member identified as comrade Sider.
Reached for comments, SWAYOCO President Sakhile ‘Awviva’ Nxumalo confirmed the abduction of the PUDEMO Youth League members.
“It’s true, they were abducted at Ludzeludze in the morning, we are trying to organize cars to visit the barracks and rescue them,”said the SWAYOCO President.
Lieutenant Tengetile Khumalo, the Army Spokesperson had not responded at the time of compiling this report.
It has been disclosed that the PUDEMO members were detained and tortured at Emtilane(Zombodze) Army Barracks.
King Mswati allegedly unleashed his soldiers on Tuesday to shoot unarmed civilians, merely for demanding democracy and the release of incarcerated pro-democracy Members of Parliament(MPs) Bacede Mabuza and Mthandeni Dube.
