Bhekithemba Dvuba,the OSSU cop who fired teargas inside bus.

MBABANE: Inspector Jimmy Bhekithemba Spatjuza Dvuba is allegedly the Operational Support Services Unit(OSSU) police officer who fired a teargas inside a bus.

The incident occurred on October 2021 during the political unrest, teachers who were from Pigg’s Peak,on their way to protest in Mbabane were subsequently shot as they tried to run away through the emergency exit.

Reached for comments, Constable Qiniso Sikhondze, the Spokesperson of the Police Staff Association confirmed that Dvuba is the officer who fired the teargas inside the bus.

It has been disclosed that the PRO confirmed the identity of the ‘teargas officer’ after police officers who are members of the Police Staff Association resolved that he must be exposed to save the lives of innocent cops who might be killed for Jimmy Dvuba’s sins.

“As police officers who are members of the Police Staff Association, we have conducted an investigation and we can now confirm that indeed Jimmy is the officer who fired a teargas inside a bus and we condemn what this man did last year during the political unrest. We are also confirming on record that these people are a team with Melusi Dlamini and others,” said the Police Staff Association PRO.

When this Swaziland News reached Inspector Dvuba for a comment, he claimed this journalist had called a wrong number, however this publication can confirm that the cell-number was accurate and registered as Bhekithemba Spatjuza Dvuba.

“You have called a wrong number,” said the police officer.

It has been disclosed that apart from shooting civilians during protests, Inspector Dvuba was included in a team tasked with killing political activists and human rights defenders.

Reached for comments, the Commander of the Swaziland International Solidarity Forces(SISF) said they would find the police officer and kill him.

“My comment is very brief. We will find this police officer and we will kill him. That’s my comment,” said the Commander of the Solidarity Forces.
