MBABANE: Alpheous Nxumalo, the Government Spokesperson says he is more than ready to appear before the proposed Parliament Select Committee, he labelled Members of Parliament(MPs) as nutters.

A nutter is a person who behaves in a foolish manner and  mentally challenged.

"I'm ready as of yesterday to appear before those nutters",he said in a message sent to this journalist.

The Government Spokesperson was reacting to an article published by this Swaziland News earlier on Wednesday, where Lobamba Lomdzala MP Marwick Khumalo suggested inside Parliament that Nxumalo must appear before a Select Committee,and explain what he meant when he said MPs were usurping King’s powers.

"Mr Speaker,I request your  office to warn this person you call Government Spokesperson.As MPs, we were in a caucus discussing a matter that is within our jurisdiction,he then accused MPs of usurping King’s powers.As you warn him Mr Speaker, I suggest that we appoint a Select Committee the where Government Spokesperson will explain the King’s powers that are being usurped by Parliament,”said  the MP.
