PUBLIC TRANSPORT OWNERS, WORKERS SPEAK IN ONE VOICE AHEAD OF SHUTDOWN: Release MPs,introduce democratic reforms.

MBABANE: Sticks Nkambule, the Secretary General of the Swaziland Transport, Communication and Allied Workers Union(SWATCAWU)says they reiterate and commit that there shall be practical action, demanding the release of incarcerated pro-democracy Members of Parliament(MPs) Bacede Mabuza and Mthandeni Dube.

The sentiments of the Public Transport Workers Union come after this Swaziland News reported earlier on Monday that transport owners held a meeting with Public Works Minister Chief Ndlaluhlaza Ndwandwe, they are threatening to park their vehicles if the pro-democracy MPs are not released by 13th December 2022.

“We reiterate and commit that there shall be a countrywide practical action by transport workers in solidarity to the incarcerated MPs.We foresee a gloomy festive season should there be undue resistance to this call of freeing the MPs,” said the SWATCAWU Secretary General.
