MBABANE: Ludzidzini Palace Governor Lusendvo Fakudze,one of Mswati’s loyal servant is in a critical condition and has been dumped by royalty.

The Governor personally called this journalist and confirmed that he was sick and might die anytime.

“Solo ungihlasele lomkhuhlane, awufuni kungiyekela ungibambe ngalapha kwesandla, lomunye ungibambe ngalapha.Lolomunye ufuna kutsi ngihambe, lolomunye ufuna kutsi ngingahambi(meaning: I am sick and in the middle of life and death),” said the Governor.

Before the Governor called this journalist, a close relative revealed that royalty was not doing enough to ensure that Fakudze received the best medical treatment.

“He is now our burden nalena(royalty)abayingeni nje, seyintamane yetfu,” said the close relative.

This is not the first time Mswati dumped his Traditional Prime Minister, former Ludzidzini Governor Jim Gama was also dumped in a critical condition.

Royalty then rushed him to hospital after Thulani Thwala, the late influential editor wrote an article in his Swazi Observer column “My Turn” questioning why Gama was not taken care-off.

Reached for comments,King’s Spokesperson Percy Simelane said Fakudze’s family was best positioned to comment regarding the Governor’s condition.

“We believe his family is best positioned to know if what he gets from the royal family is best.His health condition is an exclusivity of the family. Kindly try his family. Normally Royalty assists with finances but  medical attention preferences are done by the family which is privy to hospital otherwise confidential treatment file,”said the King’s Spokesperson.
