MHLAMBANYATSI: An armed King Mswati’s soldier that was providing security at the politically connected Montigny Investments timber company on Friday, fell asleep in his line of duty.
The soldier was deployed after members of the Swaziland International Solidarity Forces(SISF) invaded the company and burnt its property.
Unfortunately,the member of the Umbutfo Eswatini Defense Force(UEDF) travelled to the dreamland and was pictured sleeping around 4:30am on Saturday leaving the company vulnerable.
Montigny Spokesperson Sihle Mavuso confirmed to this Swaziland News this week that his company was attacked and fire trucks worth R 4.5 million were destroyed.
“We suffered R 4.5 million damage after the burning of the two trucks,those trucks were specialized trucks to fight fire even when cars are burning,” said the Montigny Spokesperson.
Montigny Investments, a politically connected company with alleged links to Finance Minister Neal Rijikernberg and Mswati through Tibiyo TakaNgwane remains a legitimate target in the midst of the political unrest.
This was disclosed by the Commander of the Swaziland International Solidarity Forces(SISF)when speaking to this Swaziland News this week, shortly after his underground forces invaded the company and burnt its properties.
