PIGG’S PEAK: Mashisa Ntjangase, a senior Supervisor at Pigg’s Peak Rocklands Timber has confirmed that the company lost about R500,000.00 after members of the Swaziland International Solidarity Forces(SISF) invaded their premises on Thursday night and burnt their production.
“We can confirm that we lost about R500,000.00 after the burning of our production,” said the Rocklands Timber Supervisor.
A questionnaire was sent to Superintendent Phindile Vilakati, the Police Spokesperson, however, she had not responded at the time of compiling this report.
Reached for comments, the Commander of the Solidarity Forces said they were in the process of attacking all businesses used to loot public resources for the benefit of Mswati and his cronies.
The Commander said they would target all companies linked to King Mswati adding that the sugar and mining industry were some of their areas of interest in their operations.
“Minerals, timber and sugar are some of the areas where emaSwati’s natural resources are being looted and the money taken out of our country and economy for the benefit of a few royal connected elites, with Mswati being the principal beneficiary”,said the Commander.
Eswatini is in the midst of a political crisis after King Mswati unleashed his soldiers and the police to shoot and kill dozens of civilians, merely for demanding democratic reforms.
