MBABANE: Employees at the Central Bank of Eswatini (CBE)were evacuated following the eruption within the building on Monday morning.
Evacuation is an act of removing someone from a place of danger.
Reached for comments, Mandla Luphondvo, the Central Bank Spokesperson, said they evacuated the building but were not sure whether it was a fire or not.
“We have evacuated the building, and for now, we cannot say whether it’s fire or not," said the Central Bank Spokesperson when speaking to editor Zweli Martin Dlamini.
Around 10:30am on Monday, employees of the Fire Department were seen hard at work around and inside the building.
