KUDZENI ONE BILLION RISING COMMUNITY YOUTH CIRCLE:Men must stop treating women like their property.

KUDZENI:Young men of Kudzeni says one of the solutions towards ending violence against women is to urge men to stop treating women like their property.

The young men shared these sentiments during the One Billion Rising Eswatini and Journey of hope for girls and women Eswatini community circle engagement with young men, during “Umtsentse Youth Conversation”.

The conversations were held on Saturday 3rd December.

 “We are committing to play a role in coming with the solutions towards ending violence against all women and girls"- said the youth.

Sitakele Maseko Who is Coordinating the One Billion Rising Community Circles said it is giving hope to hear young men speaking positively about ending violence against women and girls. 

“As part of 16 days of activism we brought these young men together through sport and engaged with them to come with solutions to end Gender Based Violence,” said the Community Coordinator. 

One Billion Rising and Journey of hope for girls and women Eswatini will continue this community engagements until end of February Which are supported by Canada Fund for local initiatives and MTN Eswatini Foundation.
