MBABANE: Like pro-democracy activists and independent journalists who were forced out of their homes and separated from their families,State propagandist Alec Lushaba is no longer enjoying the same pillow with his wife and children.
This comes after members of the underground forces destroyed Lushaba’s home at LaMgabhi Etiyeni.
Now confidential WhatsApp messages suggest that the wife was considering renting a flat away from Lushaba in fear of being killed after receiving a tip-off that the State propagandist remains a legitimate target.
A questionnaire was sent to the State propagandist, however, he had not responded at the time of compiling this report.
Lushaba was attacked by members of the underground forces, his home was completely destroyed and his family was forced to reside somewhere in town.
It has been disclosed that the wife received a warning from the Solidarity Forces to avoid being close to Lushaba as he remains a legitimate target.
Lushaba promoted the persecution of incarcerated pro-democracy Members of Parliament(MPs) Bacede Mabuza and Mthandeni Dube, independent journalists and pro-democracy activists.
Reached for comments on Tuesday, the female Commander of Sikhali Sesive SemaSwati(SSS) underground unit who was heading the operation against the State journalist, urged the wife not to leave Alec Lushaba.
“The wife has not committed any crime against Swazis, she can continue staying with her husband. But yena loLushaba utogcina atfolakele,” said the female Commander.
