MBABANE: Busie Mayisela, the President of the newly formed Swazis First Democratic Front(SFDF) says it was Mduduzi Magawugawu Simelane’s decision to participate in Mswati’s Tinkhundla undemocratic elections not them as the Executive.
Mayisela was expelled by Magawugawu as a member of the Swaziland Liberation Movement(SWALIMO) after she challenged him for being a dictator, other Executive members that include Secretary General Dr Siphetfo Dlamini and Deputy Secretary General Gift Dlamini dumped Magawugawu to form a new party with the former Ezulwini Mayor.
Speaking to this Swaziland News, the former Chairperson of the Swaziland Liberation Movement(SWALIMO) said they were never involved in taking the decision.
“It was his decision,we were never involved in deciding whether to participate in the elections or not”, said the SFDF President.
Mayisela told this publication that they as the Swazis First Democratic Front(SFDF), they would not participate in the elections adding that their agenda is to defeat the system.
Former Siphofaneni Member of Parliament(MP) Mduduzi Magawugawu Simelane confirmed in his online programme that he was lobbying political leaders to participate in Mswati’s undemocratic elections.
His wife Nomalungelo Simelane(LaZwide) is currently enjoying a fifty thousand Rands (R50,000.00) salary after campaigning for her saying she would change the system from within.
