OK Foods Director Lincoln Motsa confirms shooting at night, three police officers rushed to hospital.

KWALUSENI:Lincoln Motsa, the Director of Linac Enterprises trading as OK Foods has confirmed that police officers were shot next to Kwaluseni OK Foods.

Gunmen shot police officers who were leaving the Kwaluseni OK Foods at around 9pm on Monday, three officers were subsequently rushed to hospital.

“It’s true, the Managers have just reported to me. But the shooting did not happen inside the Kwaluseni OK Foods premises, kwenteke lapha ngase-timakethe, lapha ebunyameni nje,”said the OK Foods Director.

A questionnaire was sent to Superintendent Phindile Vilakati, the Police Spokesperson,however, she had not responded at the time of compiling this report.

An eye witness told this Swaziland News that he saw a heavy exchange of gunfire next to the Kwaluseni OK Foods.

“I was not close to the scene but I saw a heavy exchange of gunfire and shots were heard,” said the eyewitness.

Reached for comments, the female Commander of the Ground Forces said she was waiting for a full report from her forces.

”What I can confirm is that there was an operation on Monday night not this one.Maybe along the way, they saw an opportunity to strike. So, that’s why I am saying wait for to confirm with the forces on the ground first then I will comment if this operation was executed by them,” said the female Commander.

Eswatini is facing a political crisis after King Mswati unleashed his soldiers and the police to shoot and kill dozens of civilians.
