MBABANE: Senator Themba Masuku,the Acting Prime Minister has wished the three(3) police officers who were shot at Kwaluseni Ok Foods,a speedy recovery.
The cops were shot by gunmen who opened fire on Monday evening while the officers were leaving Ok Foods where they were providing security.
Addressing the media during a press conference held at the Cabinet Offices on Tuesday, the Acting PM urged the entire Nation to pray for the injured police officers.
“I have personally spoken to all three officers,and I am happy that they are showing great strength and courage as they are receiving medical attention.We would like to urge the entire Eswatini Nation to pray for their complete recovery so they can be reunited with their families,” said the Acting Prime Minister.
After the shooting, senior police officers visited the crime scene on Tuesday afternoon.
