MBABANE: Bonginkosi ‘IB’ Dlamini, the Convenor of the United Eswatini Diaspora(UED) says they will write to Switzerland and formally inform them that their citizen was killed by a dictatorship Government.
Sven Agneus, a tourist from Switzerland was killed in an accident after Mswati’s Government released buses driven by soldiers and the police without permits.
The Government was trying to mitigate a national shutdown by public transport operators.
Speaking to this Swaziland News on Wednesday, the United Eswatini Diaspora(UED) Convenor said they would inform the Government of Switzerland that if there was democracy in eSwatini, their citizen would be alive.
“We will write and inform the Switzerland Government that if there was democracy in Swaziland, their child would be alive,” said the UED Convenor.
Government Spokesperson Alpheous Nxumalo had not responded at the time of compiling this report.
Sven Agneus, a tourist from Switzerland died tragically at Hawane last week after being involved in an accident with a Government bus driven by a security officer without a public permit.
It has been disclosed that the buses released by Government to mitigate the national shutdown by public transport workers were not properly serviced.
