MBEKEKELWENI: Members of the Swaziland International Solidarity Forces(SISF) have shot and killed King Mswati’s umbutfo(warrior), a few hours after his State security forces allegedly killed Muzi Mmema, the Secretary General of the Swazis First Democratic Front(SFDF).
The warrior was gunned down at Mbekelweni in the Manzini region on Thursday afternoon, his name could not be ascertained at the time of compiling this report.
The killing was confirmed by a member of the Solidarity Forces who shared a picture of the warrior’s lifeless body.
“Yes,he has been shot at Mbekelweni, he was on his way to attend Incwala. He was shot by(name of Solidarity Force member withheld)just now,”said the member of the Solidarity Forces.
A questionnaire was sent to Superintendent Phindile Vilakati, the Police Spokesperson, however, she had not responded at the time of compiling this report.
Eswatini is in the midst of a political unrest, on Tuesday Mswati’s Special Force that kills political activists and human rights defenders abducted and killed Muzi Mmema, the Secretary General of the newly formed Swazis First Democratic Front(SFDF).
It has been disclosed that some of Mswati’s police officers and soldiers who allegedly killed Mmema are now on the Solidarity Forces wanted list.
