MBABANE: Johannes Manikela, the Chairperson of the Federation of Eswatini Business Community(FESBC) in the Hhohho region says the ongoing political unrest is affecting their businesses, he calls for an urgent political dialogue.
Speaking during a debate where financial challenges affecting the Nation were discussed at length, the businessman said eSwatini was no-longer conducive for business.
“The political unrest is affecting our businesses, creating cash flow challenges in the country yet before this political crisis,we were affected by COVID-19. We need to sit down as Swazis and resolve our political differences to create a conducive environment for businesses,” said the FESBC Chairman.
Government Spokesperson Alpheous Nxumalo had not responded at the time of compiling this report.
Manikela further urged Government to speed-up payments for businesses who were awarded tenders adding that the delay contributed to the collapse of many businesses.
