Education Minister Lady Howard-Mabuza announces decline in JC, EPC results pass rate.

MBABANE:Lady Howard-Mabuza, the Minister of Education and Training has announced a slight decline in the performance of the Junior Certificate (JC) and Eswatini Primary Certificate (EPC) Class of 2022,at 83.3% and 91.94% respectively, Government online platforms reported on Wednesday.

This is compared to 84.11% and 93.91% in 2021,indicating a 0.18% and 1.97% decline respectively.

“The Ministry of Education and Training appreciates the hard work done by head teachers, teachers, learners, and parents during the 2022 academic year. As a Ministry, we are pleased that despite the disturbances that occurred during the writing of the exams,the 2022 session was a great success.I would like to congratulate learners for working hard when preparing for the examinations.To candidates who did not make it in the 2022 external examination, I would like to encourage you not to lose hope but to continue working hard,” said the Minister as quoted by Government online platforms.
