MBOMBELA: Senior members of the People’s United Democratic Movement(PUDEMO)welcomed Philemon Lukhele,the member of the political organization who was arrested for allegedly killing Hillary Gardee.
Lukhele was granted bail by the Mbombela Magistrates court on Friday morning.
The case took a dramatic twist after another suspect with no alleged links to the PUDEMO member allegedly confessed to have killed Hillary Gardee, this happened after the police had already arrested Lukhele who continues to deny any involvement in the murder.
Reached for comments, Wandile Dludlu, the PUDEMO Secretary General saluted the independent court for ensuring justice in this matter.
“PUDEMO salutes the independent court for doing justice in this matter which was long overdue.Cde Philemon Lukhele is us we are him. Welcome back soldier of the Bhambhata movement,” he said.
PUDEMO senior members welcome Philemon Lukhele who was released on R20,000.00 bail by Mbombela Magistrates Court.
