I was surprised when members of the royal household at Mgazini sent me a picture of Chief Prince Sicunusa who evicted a poor man at Mgazini umphakatsi.

I didn’t know that this is the same man I used to sit next to at the Ezulwini Africa Evangelical Church(AEC), his wife is in the praise team. 

Perhaps, let me first acknowledge the fact that the Chief reversed the eviction of Motsa after we exposed him.

But the reports we are receiving from Mgazini suggest that the Prince is persecuting residents including members of the royal household in that area.

What is the purpose of going to church if as a Chief,you will then abuse your traditional powers, grab land from orphans and widows instead of being a father to all the members of your community?

I am told that an old man within the Mgazini umphakatsi who introduced Chief Sicunusa to the King is on the run after the Chief threatened to kill him. 

The old man,as a senior member of the royal household tried to advice the Chief not to forcefully grab land from the residents,however, Chief Sicunusa allegedly said “The King has blessed me as a Chief here, I am now in charge”.

Now,let me warn Chief Sicunusa that even though I was sitting next to him in church, I will not side with him in the injustice against innocent poor civilians.

The Chief must allow the old man back to his home and further return all the land he grabbed from orphans and widows.

If he fails to do that,he must never call me to mitigate once trouble erupts against him.

I strongly believe power must be used to protect the powerless, going to church should transform one to understand that God always sides with the poor and vulnerable.

That Prince Sicunusa was blessed by Mswati to be a Chief does not mean he is the BOSS at Mgazini, we don’t want bosses in this country but leaders.

It is such conduct that will make the people to call for the total eradication of traditional leadership including the Monarchy in the coming new democratic dispensation.

The Royal Household at Mgazini must convene a meeting and discuss the conduct of  the Prince , if he fails to listen, they must report him to the underground forces for appropriate action.
