MBABANE: Alpheous Nxumalo,the eSwatini Government Spokesperson has vigorously denied that the State hired mercenaries to kill political activists.

Speaking to Ligwalagwala FM on Tuesday,the Government Spokesperson accused the Swaziland Solidarity Network(SSN) Spokesperson Lucky Lukhele of getting paid for speaking lies about eSwatini and its authorities.

“Eswatini never hired mercenaries to kill anyone, the Finance Minister he is speaking about, you can just see that people like Lukhele(SSN Spokesperson)are used to speaking lies about eSwatini and the country’s authorities to get free money,” said the Government Spokesperson.

On another note, Lucky Lukhele, the Spokesperson of the Swaziland Solidarity Network(SSN) accused the Government of hiring a private military company that was working for the apartheid Government to kill political activists.

“We have information suggesting that there were white men in balaclavas who are normally seen in roadblocks, some are working with the police and the army. After conducting further investigations, we discovered that indeed that there were white men inside eSwatini providing private military services, some were previously working with the apartheid Government. These people conduct roadblocks once they realize that you are active in calling for democracy, they follow you and people are disappearing,” said the Spokesperson of the Swaziland Solidarity Network(SSN).
