MBABANE: Swaziland News editor Zweli Martin Dlamini says he got new exposure this week when his editors at the Mail&Guardian asked him to write a balanced article about the death of human rights lawyer Thulani Maseko and produce it within three(3)hours.
The editor says writing for other international newspapers enables one to learn other styles of writing and expand the global network of sources.
“Journalism is about producing timely,credible and accurate news among others.When you write an article for an international newspaper within a short space of time and the article gets published, that’s when you are able to gauge your performance,” said the editor.
The editor, a freelance-writer for the Mail and Guardian was invited by other editors to tour the M&G newsroom in November 2021, he is expected to tour other South African newsrooms in the coming months.
