WINDHOEK:Namibian President Dr Hage Gottfried Geingob, the Chairperson of the Southern African Development Community(SADC) Troika on Politics,Defense and Security has once again warned that when diplomacy fails,people go to war.
Addressing Heads of State during the Extraordinary meeting held in Namibia on Tuesday, the SADC Troika Chairperson reminded eSwatini that “you make peace with your enemies not your friends” and appealed for dialogue.
“One doesn’t also make peace with friends, you make peace with your enemies, therefore one has to dialogue to find one another,” said the SADC Troika Chairperson.
Eswatini is in the midst of a political crisis, dozens including human rights lawyer Thulani Maseko have been killed allegedly, by King Mswati’s security agents for demanding democracy.
