MBABANE:Wandile Dludlu,the Secretary General of the People’s United Democratic(PUDEMO) says the State Intelligence Officer who leaked the assassination plot recording to journalist Zweli Martin Dlamini did so for the love of fellow Swazis.
Speaking to this Swaziland News current affairs programme on Tuesday, the PUDEMO Secretary General said the officer opted to save the lives of other Swazis instead of participating in their killing.
“The Intelligence officer who leaked this audio loves Swazis,”said the PUDEMO Secretary General.
It has been reported that Brigadier General Thembinkosi Mngometulu, Defense Principal Secretary Prince Sicalo and Head of Royal Close Protection Unit(RCPU) Major General Lasco plotted to assassinate Students President Colani Maseko and then frame PUDEMO Youth League President Sakhike ‘Awuviva ’ Nxumalo on murder charges.
