Mkhondvo residents urge National Commissioner to build toilet in the bush for police officers staging 24-hour roadblock amid disturbing smell.

MKHONDVO: Residents at Mkhondvo have appealed to National Commissioner William Dlamini to consider building a toilet in the nearby bush for the officers staging a 24-hour roadblock amid a disturbing smell.

A questionnaire was sent to the National Commissioner,however, he had not responded at the time of compiling this report.

Speaking to this Swaziland News on Tuesday, one of the residents appealed to this publication to ask the National Commissioner to build a toilet where the officers staging the roadblock at Mkhondvo would relieve themselves.

“Please ask the National Commissioner to construct a  toilet for the officers at the Mkhondvo 24-hour roadblock  because now we are struggling with a disturbing smell in the area,” said the resident.

Reached for comments, Welcome Mdluli, the President of the Swaziland Democratic Nurses Union(SWADNU)said as health workers they would inspect the area and put pressure on the National Commissioner to construct the toilet urgently.

“We were not aware that there was no toilet there but by Friday, we will inspect the area and put pressure on the National Commissioner to build the toilet,” said the Nurses Union President.
