KUBUTHA: David Cruzer Ngcamphala, the Minister of Tinkhundla Administration and Development presented a tractor and other equipment worth R1.6million to Kubutha Asisukumeni Multipurpose Corporative,Government online platforms reported on Wednesday.
Speaking during the handover of the tractor on Wednesday, the Minister said such projects address the objective of the Regional Development Fund(RDF)which is poverty alleviation or eradication in each of the four regions of the Kingdom.
“It is within Government’s vision to pursue expansion into other project areas, which are a priority need for improving the socio economic lives of rural communities. I therefore, wish to implore Asisukumeni members to take full responsibility of this machinery plant purchased for them.His Majesty’s Government will continually challenge Members of Parliament, Regional Administrators, Regional Secretaries, Tinkhundla committees, local chiefdom development committees, community development officers and the Micro Projects unit to work hard in ensuring that the Regional Development Fund is also used as a vehicle to achieve proper infrastructure development,” said the Minister as quoted by Government online platforms.
