MBABANE: Some Queens(emakhosikati) are literally in prison within the Palaces,they have spent over three(3)years without seeing their husband King Mswati.

Reached for comments, King’s Spokesperson Percy Simelane declined to comment, he described this issue as a private matter outside his jurisdiction.

“It is only the public face of the King and members of the Royal Family that is our area of interest.Their private lives are no go area for us,”said the King’s Spokesperson.

This disclosure comes after two Queens Nothando Dube and Senteni Masango allegedly died mysteriously after being dumped by the King and subjected to torture and or house arrest within the Palaces.

Before she died,Queen Nothando Dube told the Mail & Guardian, a South African newspaper that she had not seen or spoken to the King.

This was after she was caught in bed with Mswati’s friend Ndumiso Mamba, the then Minister of Justice and Constitutional Affairs.

Inkhosikati LaDube told the South African newspaper that the royal security guards told her she was not allowed to see or interact with her family and friends.

“My side of the story was not heard. Ever since that scandal happened, we haven’t been talking with this man that I married. Things have been bad and now they are worse. I really, really want out and I can’t, he is just not letting me go. It’s like I am in prison; I am under 24-hour surveillance,” said the Queen as quoted by the Mail and Guardian.

Now, one of the Queens who spoke to this Swaziland News journalist alleged that the King spent more time with Inkhosikati LaNkambule,LaMashwama and LaFogiyane and sometimes LaNgagaza among others, with more attention given to Queen LaNkambule who resides at Ezulwini.

The Queen said the situation became worse in the past three(3)years as the King was in isolation in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic.

“Even before the COVID-19,he would just ignore you if there were issues or misunderstandings, he can spend a year without talking to you not to mention a visit.But through-out this period, he would ensure that you are taken care-of, you would receive your monthly allowance but you would never see him,”said the Queen whose name cannot be revealed for ethical reasons.

The Queen said cheating was a normal life within the royal circles despite the risks.

Mswati married more than fifteen(15)wives,all of them are funded with taxpayers money.
