MBABANE:Prime Minister Cleopas Sipho Dlamini says the African Union(AU) has called for a dialogue to resolve the political crisis in eSwatini.
Addressing the media during a press conference on Tuesday upon his return from Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, where he represented King Mswati at the 36th Ordinary Session of the Assembly of the African Union, the PM said the AU requested SADC and the AU Commission to promote peace and a dialogue to resolve the crisis.
“The PSC also noted with concern the unfolding situation in the Kingdom of Eswatini and requested the AU Commission, in coordination with SADC and the Kingdom of Eswatini, to promote peace and dialogue towards resolution of the political and social crisis in the country,” said the Prime Minister as quoted by eSwatini Government online platforms.
