Commerce Minister Mancoba Khumalo launches Incubation Centre for youth owned businesses,UNICEF calls for more training.

LUDZELUDZE: Senator Mancoba Khumalo, the Minister of Commerce,Industry and Trade has launched an Incubation Centre for youth-owned businesses at Ludzeludze. 

According to eSwatini Government online platforms, this is the second youth Incubation Centre to be launched in just over a year, following one that launched at Nhlangano in 2021,which has empowered at least 100 young emaSwati on entrepreneurship.

“I implore all stakeholders to support and embrace this initiative in every possible way. My Ministry has done everything in its power to ensure that young people contribute to the economy through different interventions. I would like to encourage all young people to utilise these opportunities for their business growth,”said the Commerce Minister as quoted by eSwatini Government online platforms.

On another note,the United Nations International Children Emergency Fund(UNICEF)Country Representative Amina Mohammed called for support for the youth to thrive. 

“They are our responsibility.Let’s leave a legacy for the young ones.We call upon the private sector to work with Government and UN on building skills for the youth through vocational education. We need to work with Government to identify needed skills so that they can be built with available resources,”said the UNICEF Country Representative.
