MBABANE:Manzini Station Commander Lawrence Dumsani Dube shot and killed himself at his house on Sunday morning, he was facing serious financial challenges.
The top cop had just came back from the Buganu Ceremony at Buhleni Royal Residence to maintain peace and order after some women died while scrambling for food.
The death of the top police officer has been confirmed by his family members.
“It’s true he has died,
more details will be released later,” said the family member whose name cannot be revealed as he preferred to remain anonymous.
Police Spokesperson Superintendent Phindile Vilakati has confirmed the death of the cop to the media.
