TIKHUBA:Senator Themba Masuku, the Deputy Prime Minister(DPM) says access to healthcare is a basic human right.
The DPM was speaking during the official opening of the R11million Magwanyana Clinic at Tikhuba on Wednesday where he was representing Prime Minister Cleopas Dlamini.
“Today’s launch is a significant one, as we are addressing a basic human right – access to healthcare. It is pleasing that service provision is already going on at this facility; hence we see policy in action as announced by His Majesty King Mswati III in his Speech from the Throne during the State Opening of the 5th Session of the 11th Parliament.Providing good health services requires collective action and participation of all stakeholders and beneficiaries in the community since these services have to respond to the needs of the community,” said the Deputy Prime Minister as quoted by eSwatini Government online platforms.
