MBABANE: Prime Minister Cleopas Dlamini has launched the Eswatini State Business Relations (SBR) Framework that seeks to improve the country’s national competitiveness using a private sector-led model, Government online platforms reported on Thursday.

Addressing stakeholders during the launch, the PM said the establishment of the Eswatini State Business Relations Framework was something that they have long been looking forward to as Government.

“This is a culmination of the hard work and dedication of certain individuals within Government, the private sector and our strategic partners. This demonstrates a shared commitment between the Government of the Kingdom of Eswatini and the Private Sector to improve on the pillars of economic growth, investment climate and taking advantage of market opportunities at national, regional, continental, and inter-continental levels,” said the PM as quoted by Government online platforms.

On another note, Andrew Le Roux, the Business Eswatini President said eSwatini remains the great place to live and do investments.

”As emaSwati,we know that Eswatini is a great place to live, work and invest in. But, we need to find more effective ways of getting the message to others. And our competitors, both regionally and continentally, have not been sitting still or keeping quiet. We are all competing for the same global investment, skills and capital and we have to find a way to position Eswatini to become the obvious destination,”said the Business Eswatini President.
