NEW YORK:Senator Themba Masuku,the Deputy Prime Minister(DPM)is expected to address the 67th Session of the Commission on the Status of Women at the UN Headquarters in New York in the United States of America(USA).
According to eSwatini Government online, the DPM participated in the official opening of the UN meeting that is attended by UN Member States it was officially opened by UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres on Tuesday.
“The Deputy Prime Minister is expected to give a statement on the status quo of women and girls’ participation in technology and innovation,highlighting on policies, programme and best practices in Eswatini.He is also expected to join a Ministerial roundtable on the priority theme: ‘Good practices in addressing barriers to breach the gender digital divide and promote education in the digital age to achieving gender equality,”reads a Government online report.
