LUVE:Residents here at Luve attacked popular traditional healer Sigodvosenyama Nhlabatsi,they were demanding a child who went missing on Monday morning.
The child went missing at Roma pre-school at Luve,it is alleged that some children within the pre-school identified Nhlabatsi as the one who grabbed the child.
Speaking to this Swaziland News,Hynd Shongwe,a resident of the area and Chairperson of the People’s United Democratic Movement(PUDEMO) Luve Branch warned residents and the Nation to keep their children safe ahead of the Tinkhundla elections.
“We want to warn the Nation to keep their children safe ahead of the Tinkhundla elections.We are at pains after the missing child because we know the parents,”said the PUDEMO Luve Chairperson.
A questionnaire was sent to Superintendent Phindile Vilakati,the eSwatini Police Spokesperson however,she had not responded at the time of compiling this report.
Around 6pm on Tuesday,the residents were allegedly surrounding Nhlabatsi’s car demanding the child,one woman shouted saying Nhlabatsi’s wife was with her child while another child was missing.
“Wakhe umeme umntfwana,siyamfuna lomntfwana akamletse,”said the woman.
It has been disclosed that the traditional healer was subsequently taken by the police to a safe place as the angry residents sought to kill him.
