KALIBA:Chief Mlotjwa of KaLiba has appealed for assistance to restore peace and stability in his community amid escalating tension.
This comes after the arrest of the area’s Member of Parliament(MP)Bacede Mabuza for calling for democratic reforms,residents have been demanding his unconditional release.
Speaking during the planting of a tree at Silele Clinic on Monday as part of the World Forestry Day,the Chief said he was forced to be in the ‘wilderness’ after chaos erupted in the area.
“I was forced into hiding by the current situation and I’m living like an animal,”said the Chief.
The Chief landed in trouble after being exposed by this Swaziland News having addressed residents,arrogantly telling them to stop traveling to Mbabane to support their incarcerated Member of Parliament(MP) Bacede Mabuza.
During the meeting,the Chief ordered senior citizens to call junior wives to order, he referred to them as “boMakotanyana”.
Thereafter,his uMphakatsi became a fertile ground for the ongoing revolution as it was burnt several times.
