International Criminal Court(ICC) invites United Eswatini Diaspora(UED)Convenor ‘IB’ Dlamini ahead of an investigation into Mswati’s crimes against humanity.

HAUGE:Bonginkosi ‘IB’ Dlamini, the Convenor of the United Eswatini Diaspora(UED) held a meeting with investigators of the International Criminal Court(ICC)in Hauge on Thursday to discuss progress and further present more evidence regarding King Mswati’s alleged crimes against humanity.

Mswati,an absolute Monarch stands accused of unleashing his soldiers and the police to shoot and kill dozens of civilians merely for demanding democratic reforms.

Insiders very close to the matter told this publication that Dlamini who has been leading a campaign to have Mswati arrested was invited by the ICC to present more evidence.

“He was invited by the ICC investigators for briefing and the presentation of more evidence to be analyzed and ascertain if it warrants a full investigation,” said the source.

In a statement sent to this Swaziland News,Dlamini confirmed visiting the ICC regarding the matter,he said a petition was also delivered.

On another note,King’s Spokeperson Percy Simelane told this publication earlier that they were waiting to see how the ICC will prosecute the King for crimes he did not commit and the fact that eSwatini did not formally recognized the ICC.
