HAGUE:Bonginkosi ‘IB’ Dlamini, the Convenor of the United Eswatini Diaspora(UED)says when he set foot at the International Criminal Court(ICC)this week,he remembered the late founding members of the Ngwane National Liberatory Congress(NNLC) Dr Ambrose Zwane and Prince Dumisa who were travelling around the world pushing the Swazi struggle.
Dlamini was allegedly invited by investigators of the International Criminal Court(ICC)for a briefing and or an update ahead of a possible investigation into King Mswati’s crimes against humanity.
“This is what Dr Ambrose Zwane and Prince Dumisa were doing, travelling the world, pushing the struggle and demanding justice for the oppressed Swazis,”said the Convenor of the United Eswatini Diaspora(UED).
The NNLC founding members were persecuted by King Sobhuza who banned political parties in 1973 and ruled by Decree, this was after three Members of Parliament(MPs) from the NNLC challenged his Imbokodvo National Movement inside Parliament.
Dlamini, the former Secretary General(SG)of the People’s United Democratic Movement(PUDEMO) established the United Eswatini Diaspora(UED)that continues to play a critical role in intensifying the struggle for democracy in Kingdom of eSwatini.
The UED is dominated by members of various political parties residing outside eSwatini.
