HOSEA:Chief Prince Mlotjwa of the troubled kaLiba community under Hosea Constituency has summoned residents to uMphakatsi on Saturday to discuss peace within the area.
This comes after chaos erupted within the community after a group of residents targeted the Chief in protest against alleged degrading words he used when warning those supporting incarcerated Member of Parliament(MP)Bacede Mabuza.
Reached for comment Chief Mlotjwa confirmed the the meeting,he stated that after hearing the Mabuza family's side of the story through Bheki Mabuza,he felt it was necessary to address the matter affecting him and his people.
"It's true that I have a meeting with my people on(Saturday).I set this up so that I could express my sincere apologies to anyone I may have offended,and I hope they will share their thoughts on how we can come up with a permanent solution.For instance,if some residents have grievances,they should come peacefully to present their petition so those issues could be discussed,”said the Chief.
