LOBAMBA:Senator Vuka ‘Moi Moi’ Masilela was called to order by other Senators on Monday during a caucus after insulting Members of Parliament(MPs)Marwick Khumalo and Robert Magongo with their mothers' private parts.
This comes after MP Magongo advised Lobamba Lomdzala MP Marwick Khumalo not to dare waste his experience in politics by going to the House of Senate,while describing Senators as "sleeping idiots".
MP Magongo was speaking during an event where Khumalo was reporting back to the people and briefing residents of Lobamba Lomdzala about the issues discussed in Parliament.
The Motshane MP was then quoted by the Times having said the House of Senate was a chamber where the lawmakers found space to ‘sleep’.
“Kuyalalwa e-Senate – they sleep in Senate.There’s no one like you in the House and we still need your contributions and experience in articulating issues,”said the Motshane MP when quoted by the Times.
It has been disclosed that upon reading the Times Sunday, Senator Vuka ‘Moi Moi’ Masilela became furious and urged Senate President Lindiwe Dlamini to call an urgent caucus where the sentiments of Motshane MP Robert Magongo were discussed at length.
Senator Masilela then insulted the two MPs with their mothers private parts
“Bayedzelela labomale……..abonina batsi siyalala tsine?(sensitive language withheld for ethical reasons)”,said Senator Moi Moi when referring to MPs Marwick Khumalo and Robert Magongo.
It was then resolved during the secret meeting chaired by Senate President that the two MPs Marwick Khumalo and Robert Magongo should be summoned to clarify the sentiments.
But it later transpired that the House of Senate does not have powers to summon MPs.
