R250million Matsapha Lifestyle Centre Mall to start operations next month,over 1500 jobs coming.

MATSAPHA:Over one thousand-five hundred(1500)Swazis are expected to secure jobs next month during the official opening of the Matsapha Lifestyle Centre Mall situated at the banks of the Lusushwana River.

Senator Tony Sibandze when addressing Prime Minister Cleopas Dlamini during the tour of the Mall last week,said the project was a one hundred percent(100%)Swazi owned local development covering an area measuring about 26 000 square metres and will accommodate over 50 retail shops,comprising of both international and local retailers,the food court among others.

SPAR,Shoprite and Woolworths are some of the retail entities that will operate within the Mall next month.

“This centre will have its own Photovoltaic plant that produces green energy which will be situated on the roof top of the whole shopping centre. Green energy will ensure sustainability for future generations and we are passionate about tackling global warming and conserving the earth for future generations.Our application is currently awaiting approval at Eswatini Energy Regulatory Authority.This development is projected to open for trading in May 2023.Matsapha Lifestyle Centre’s unique design incorporating that of a bridge will be aesthetically pleasing and designed with the Kingdom’s first world status ambitions in mind,”said the Senator who was speaking on behalf of Mansoor Group of Companies.
