NEWLY ELECTED COMMUNIST PARTY ORGANIZING SECRETARY:Youth have a duty to end Mswati’s era of oppression.

MBABANE:Bafanabakhe Sacolo,the newly elected National Organizing Secretary of the Communist Party of Swaziland(CPS) says young people have a duty to end King Mswati’s era of oppression.

Speaking to this Swaziland News on Monday during an exclusive interview,the former Secretary General of the Swaziland National Union of Students(SNUS) said there’s no Messiah in the struggle for democracy adding that the act of liberation the country should be an act of the people themselves.

The vibrant political activist urged young people to take a leading role in the struggle for democracy.

“Young people have nothing to lose.Our political history has taught us that once young people are rightful positioned in the fight for freedom,victory is certain and it's high time we end the era of slavery by removing the Tinkhundla system of governance,” said the CPS National Organizing Secretary.

Sacolo was arrested and charged with malicious damage to property on the 17th of May 2021 after King Mswati's police fired teargas at St Paul High School Sports ground in Manzini during Thabani Nkomonye's memorial service and he was eventually granted fifty thousand Rands(R50,000.00)bail after spending a week at Matsapha Maximum Prison.
