MBABANE: Seretse Ian Khama, the former President of the Republic of Botswana has wished His Majesty King Mswati a successful reign on the Throne on his birthday.
King Mswati was born on the 19th April 1968, this year he celebrated his 55th birthday.
In an online statement published on Thursday, the former Botswana President said he had an honor to be part of the King’s private birthday celebration, he described the atmosphere as welcoming and joyful.
“Yesterday(Wednesday) I had the honour of sharing a birthday soirèe with His Majesty King Mswati III, King of Eswatini,as he celebrated his 55th birthday.The day was commemorated with zeal to honour the King's devotion, service, and commitment to his people.The general atmosphere was welcoming and joyful and the devotion and love shown to the King were nothing short of amazing. Happy Birthday, Your Majesty! I wish you a long and successful reign on the throne of your forefathers,” said the former Botswana President in an online statement.
