MBABANE: Pastor Mfanasibili Nkambule,the leader of the Mathangeni Pentecost Church allegedly hired a bulldozer on Friday and destroyed all Spaza shops and temporal structures next to his church building at Mathangeni, Matsapha.
Speaking to this Swaziland News, the Pastor said the street vendors market outlets are undermining the beautiful structure of the church it has been long overdue for them to have left after their agreement.
Nkambule said the demolition of the Spaza shops next to his church was authorized by the Masundvwini Royal Council.
“Armed Sigodvweni Police Officers were present during the demolition of the Spaza shops to provide security. So anyone who feels offended should open a case and if I am found guilty,I am willing to pay all damages,”said the Pastor.
The Pastor said the demolished temporal structures were hiding the beauty of the church building.
