Speaking to this Swaziland News current affairs program, the SWADEPA President confirmed holding a meeting with their member Pastor Nkambule.

“After reading the article from the Swaziland News, we summoned him to hear his side of the story, unfortunately, we can’t divulge what we discussed with him. We can confirm that the Pastor is our member,he is the former Secretary General (SG) and a founding member of an association for street vendors that is now headed by Mr Sikhondze. We were working with him even at the SFTU, so this matter touched us, and we had to seek some clarity from him," said the SWADEPA President.

On another note, Bishop Mpendulo Nkambule urged the Pastor to consider providing an alternative decent structures for the vendors that match the standard of the church if he feels their presence is undermining the beauty of his church.
