HARARE:King Mswati of eSwatini says social media is one of the most powerful tools that enables people to connect and share their experiences and as result,his Government provides a fast and reliable internet.

Speaking during the Transform Africa Summit held at the Victoria Falls-Zimbabwe on Wednesday,the King said the Kingdom of Eswatini was working on a digital framework to complement the state of the art data and Call Centre.

“In the kingdom,we have made strides to ensure our citizens have fast and reliable internet access, mobile connectivity, and we are now working on a digital Eswatini framework, which will compliment the state of the art data centre and call centre that is in place.A united Africa can create a more stable and secure environment that encourages investment, job creation, and economic growth. It can also lead to increased political power and influence on the global stage.Social media platforms enable people to share their experiences and connect with others from different parts of the continent. This can lead to greater understanding and appreciation of the diversity of African cultures,” said the King as quoted by Government online platforms.
