MBABANE: The Ministry of Natural Resources and Energy in partnership with JA Eswatini has awarded students who participated in a two-week job shadowing programme with certificates of completion.
According to Government online platforms, the programme was funded by the World Bank (NRAP Component 3) and forty(40)students benefitted.
“The job shadowing exercise is part of a mentorship and internship programme that sees students being attached to different companies, under the Gender Mainstreaming initiative of “Closing the Gender Gap in the Energy Sector.Companies that are part of the programme are the Eswatini Energy Regulatory Authority, Eswatini Electricity Company, Eswatini National Petroleum Company,Eswatini Water Services Corporation,
Ubombo Sugar Limited, Royal Eswatini Sugar Corporation and Total Energies,” reads the government online report.
