HOSEA: Lindiwe Fakudze, the mother to deceased police recruit and member of the Swazis First Democratic Front(SFDF) Simhle Fakudze has come-out to refute allegations suggesting that her daughter was secretly buried by the police last night.
This comes after an online platform published unverified false information,suggesting that the police were plotting to secretly bury the deceased to prevent political activists from attending the funeral.
“Preparations for my daughter’s funeral on Saturday are underway,” she said.
The police recruit died in a car accident at Sidvokodvo this week, she was a member of the newly formed Swazis First Democratic Front(SFDF).
Fakudze managed to be employed in the police service,despite a vetting process meant to disqualify those calling for democratic reforms.
The Swaziland Multi-Stakeholder Forum(MSF) sends condolences to the family, relatives and friends of Comrade Simhle Fakudze.
In a public statement released on Thursday, the MSF urged the Mass Democratic Movement to show maximum support by attending the funeral services.
